Thank you so much for hosting a makeup workshop for us! We may have had a little TOO much fun trying out new styles! Congrats to our “best contour” winners- Tyler (done by Ali), Aaron (done by Taylor) and Kyleigh! We can’t wait to use this experience to make sure our makeup is perfect come show time!

Hello everyone! I’m Matt Floyd, and I’m the Student Technical Director for this year! I am in charge of designing and building sets, and making the stage look as nice as possible. I have always been interested in building/designing and am also a part of the engineering program at South. If you are interested in building sets, or other backstage work, please let me know! Hello, I am Eva I am the lights director at Golden Wings. I have been doing lighting for 5 years professionally and 2 years at golden wings. Our job as light team is to make sure you can see what is happening on stage. We have everything from manual spotlights to moving head lights. Hey everyone! My name is Maddie Thievon and I’m one of the heads of hair and makeup. Basically my job is to make sure that you look good on stage at all times :) I’m also a member of dance team and am more than happy to help with anything else golden wings/choir related. I’m a soprano one and if you start singing I will most definitely join in! My favorite musical is Anastasia and I own a really cute gecko named Caspian. I absolutely love meeting new people and I hope to get to know all of you this year!

Hi everyone! My name is Ellie Viscusi, I’m a sophomore, and I’m thrilled to be one of the co-heads for makeup and wigs this year. I help plan stage makeup styles, apply prosthetics and SFX, and style wigs for the shows. Costuming is one of my bigger hobbies so I spend a lot of time sewing and drafting costumes, as well as working with wigs and makeup. My other hobbies include cooking, crocheting, anything music related (like being a member of music team this year!!), and spending as much time as humanly possible with my dog, Eli, which is unfortunately short for Elijah Hamilton. (This is his legal name, my family is very sorry.) I look forward to having a wonderful year with all of you!! 💕💕

Are you interested in acting, singing, dancing, lighting, sound, making sets, costumes, makeup, wigs, or all of the above? Then please come to the GW General Membership meeting! It is going to be in the auditorium on Thursday Sept. 1st right after school. We have so big things to announce and discuss, so everyone new and old to the club should be there! If you have any questions, please reach out!
