I would Ike to thank everyone who made the Atomic the kick ass place it was! π I miss it and everyone very much. What a crazy chapter in my life!!! I was struggling with divorce, depression, hurting children, panicking trying to survive, dealing with vandals, bad neighbors(downstairs, not Cruzrs... Cruzrs was greatπ) the dilapidated building letting mop water and spilled pitchers pour in from upstairs frying games, the whole building shaking when the bus would go by, having sewage lines break, sink holes in the parking lot, ground water pouring into the basement knee deep from the underground lake the arcade luckily hadn't fallen into ... But despite the chaos... Thanks to those of you that pitched in, showed up, played for hours and shared your love and positivity making the Atomic a success for every one of its 8 years and we all I hope have some good memories to hold on to from the experience!!! I know I do and wouldn't trade them for the world. Our insurance company had pulled out of Utah and upon searching for a new company found the building was on top of an earthquake fault (apparently where the rocks jut up on the east side of the parking area) plus the condition of the building and the already high risk to insure an arcade I was unable to find anyone to cover it. (Good thing the first insurance company never looked into it π€π€) So I decided to pull the memory card and save the continue for another day. It was a good run. I don't think I would have made it through that part of my life without all of you and I am grateful for your love, support, and motivation. Thank you!!!!
