I’ve had numerous messages the past few weeks about a specific topic. So, I feel it easier to clarify on here for all.
Customer: “can I bring my own jewelry in to get pierced with”
Me: “absolutely! But I do stress that it’s either surgical steel or titanium, nothing cheap”
Customer: “well I picked up some cute earrings at (specific store) and really like it”
Me: thinking to myself, I know the store name. Cheap jewelry.
“From what you’ve told me, keep the jewelry in the original packing and bring it in, if you’re persistent in me using that, then fine”
***PLEASE NOTE*** in my room, I only pierce with the above 2 mentioned. IF you bring your own in, you will need to sign on your registration paper stating you brought your own in, that I’ve let you know all the risks in using something cheaper. If you don’t sign the acknowledgment of this, I will not pierce you with the jewelry you use.
RISKS OF USING CHEAP JEWELRY:
Severe allergic reactions
Bacterial infections
Risk of rejection and migration
Delayed healing and tissue trauma
Toxic metal exposure
I have witnessed some of these while going through school, believe me none of these are ANYTHING you want to put yourself through.
After getting my piercing license, I have learned and witnessed the aftermath of cheap jewelry. I WILL NOT put my clients through such a horrible experience. Please note, if you EVER have any questions, please contact me!!!!! I do free consultations, we talk over the process and I make sure you are comfortable with everything before we proceed. After all, you are wearing by my work and I want you to look your best showing your piercing off!!!!
Once again, thank you to everyone for all of your love and support!!!!!! I love each and every one of you!!!!!
As always, if you have any questions, you can message me at (785) 302-1376 or get ahold of me here on Facebook. Thank you!!!
