At the 2026 Sacred Makers Soul Retreat, Kristin Peterson - will be teaching Punching with Purpose, a punch needle embroidery class full of symbols for healing, protection, and personal power. She will guide you through the techniques and provide a space for you to share, be witnessed, and witness for others.

We are super excited to have the amazingly talented Kristin Peterson of coming back to Sacred Makers. She’s teaching Punch Needle Embroidery and introducing you to her style will be one of the highlights of this session.
This will be Kristin’s 3rd time teaching for Sacred Makers. We are THRILLED she said YES, again.
Kristin’s style is quirky, colorful, & full of the unexpected. We equate that to freedom, fun, & fabulous-ness.
𝐇𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬: Punching With Purpose is all about using the technique as a way to express complex emotions and feelings in a creative way.
Learn to create with yarn in a variety of ways that include embracing the creative magic & leaving the inner critic at the door.

Meet DeeDee Catron - — another tried & true Sacred Makers Soul Retreat teacher who will be with us in June 2026. LINK IN BIO.
✨ DeeDee loves mixed media that has a flair towards vintage ephemera collage and mark making. You might recognize her art because she has a signature style, color palette and voice, often showing up as all things black & white, with some neutrals thrown in for good measure.
✨She is an energetic teacher who also creates tangible goodness in the form of supplies from her online mixed media shop, UmWowStudio - .
✨In 2026 she will be at Squam Lake teaching us how to make 3D mixed media pieces that represent all the many layers of who we are. The project here is an example of DeeDee’s assemblage art but not exactly what you’ll make. She has a gift for creating personalized pieces that can stand on any mantle, bookcase, or altar. The way creates faces is a beautiful metaphor for the way light and shadow play with each other on the page and in life. In our art the shadow helps us see the light. We believe that is true in life as well.

In case you missed the memo that our teaching crew has expanded for June 2026, here is your reminder that Tiffany Smith — a tried-and-true Sacred Maker teacher who we just adore is returning to teach a Soulful Mixed Media Self Portrait class where students will explore the concept of light & shadow in their art and as a tool for healing.

Tiffany is spunky, spicy, & sassy with a whole lotta heart. We just vibe with her energy & her art. She’s a dynamic teacher, painter, art journaler, & all around crafty maker. She arts daily, runs a thriving online school & is one of the founders of The Ugly Art Club (all three of the founders will be teaching at the June 2026 retreat - a treat for us!!!)
