We are temporarily shutting down most of our services to work on studio upgrades to provide even better experiences and productions for talent and staff. These include expanding simultaneous tracking to 42 channels, the addition of API gear to our SSL and Neve capabilities, expansion of our Hybrid "2 Box" mixing and mastering chains, as well as improved monitor systems, control room sound testing and increased main room space.
Depending upon progress, an estimated resumption of tracking is hard to predict. Please don't hesitate to contact us at 207-538-5502 as work progresses. That way we can give more up to date estimates on resumption of full services. Small projects or those not requiring much setup may be possible before completion of renovations and expansions.
Perhaps even more exciting during this process is the plan to move the Chickering Baby Grand to a new live tracking space, beginning the addition of a nearly 1,200 square foot "Cathedral" room. This room has 16' high ceilings and a natural ambience perfectly suited for Small ensembles to large choral groups. More on this in the future.
One of our primary missions continues to be providing youth with a real life recording studio educational environment. Presently we have 5 students representing 4 separate school districts. We will continue their hands-on learning experiences throughout this renovation project and invite any interested youth, parents and educators to give a call. We are very excited for what lies ahead and continue to appreciate everyone's patience and support.
