Beau's Landing is a family-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to create meaningful social opportunities for teens and adults with special needs—bringing people together to make friends, have fun, and simply belong. 💙 Located in Hockley, TX (right on the edge of Cypress!), we’re building a welcoming space with programs, activities, and events designed for dignity, joy, and community. It’s been a little quiet here, but Beau’s Landing has not been quiet behind the scenes.

We’ve been working through the not-so-fun stuff — permits, bathrooms, insurance, planning, and figuring out how to move forward the right way — but we’re still making progress.

We’re also starting to think about some fun smaller social gatherings while we keep working toward the bigger goal. Movies, games, dances, hangouts… all the things we’ve been dreaming about from the beginning.

Slow progress is still progress, and we’re excited to keep going. 💙

We've been doing a lot of thinking lately...

One thing we've learned is that creating meaningful friendships doesn't have to wait for a building.

While we're continuing to work toward our long-term vision for Beau's Landing, we're also exploring ways to start bringing teens and adults with special needs together through social activities around our community.

We're curious...

Our first fundraiser at Beau’s Landing was a success, with around 30 people joining us for the evening!

A huge thank-you to our board member Hieu for hosting the cabi portion and donating her commission to Beau’s Landing, and to her husband, Jeff, for doing such a great job running the poker tournament.

We may not have taken many pictures because we were too busy enjoying the night, but we’re so grateful to everyone who came, helped, donated, and supported us!

Families looking for programs for teens and adults with higher support needs may want to check this out.

HeartSong Community is a new place opening up in Tomball.

Their nurse-led program starts June 22, and they’re hosting an open house June 18–20 from 9–11 a.m.

Furniture is officially in the rec center 🙌

It’s not complete yet, but it’s getting closer!

Now we’re working on making it feel like a true hangout space — games, movies, comfy seating, tables for board games, and places to just sit and talk.

We’re still looking for gaming systems, small tables/chairs, arcade-style games, bowling shuffleboard, artwork, and other fun pieces to bring the space to life.
