Building on the popularity of our Super Bowl XLVIII exhibition in 2014 - which put Barsky Gallery in the spotlight and generated significant buzz across Hoboken, local press, and the NFL community - we’ve been preparing something new for 2026.

In celebration of the FIFA World Cup coming to the region, we are inviting artists to transform actual soccer balls into one-of-a-kind works of art.

Each selected artist will receive a ball as their canvas - an opportunity to reinterpret the global language of the game through their own visual style.

This exhibition will bring together sport, culture, and contemporary art in a way that’s tactile, collectible, and highly visible during one of the world’s most watched events.
