Hey all! Hope your summer is going nicely. Just wanted to let you know, we'll be shutting down most of the website on Thursday – mostly 'cause we don't want to pay the $15 monthly for Squarespace, our favorite all-in-one platform for easy website making ( please sponsor this we know it's not a podcast but Andy doesn't have a full-time job yet.)

In the coming days, we'll be uploading a ton of the photos and to this page. Let us know if you'd like us to send any of that to you by messaging the page directly.

In the meantime, feel free to scroll through and fondly recollect the one day students organized a festival to promote the arts culture, featured over 40 local bands, solo artists, comedians, poetry acts with half of them student-groups, had over 600 attendees from both campus and outside guests, over 20 visual artists feature their work, had clubs and organizations promote their efforts, raise donations, and sell food (successfully!), and was the only festival in Stevens history to make over $1k for the SGA. All of this happened as a new idea in its first - and, at least for this year, only – iteration.

Isn't that what looks like?

What a fun, loud, lovely day OnPoint was. Click check out photos, videos, and information from Stevens's first music and arts festival

THANK YOU.

Look out for a fuller wrap-up, including Andy's comments at the end, a whole bunch of media from the day, and more throughout the next week.

In the meantime, here's a picture of one of our happiest attendants. We believe she was there for Hexdog?

A CLARIFICATION:

While our weather sites show slight drizzles throughout the day, we do want to confirm that food, stages, club booths, merch, information and wristband tents are all covered. The crowd areas for each stage are not. Please prep accordingly so you can safely go nuts, ham, or whatever food your heart desires for acts like Say Goodnight, who's performing at 3:30 p.m. on the OffPoint Stage, and who you can see a bit sooner below as part of our OnPoint Preview!

VITAL INFORMATION FOR YOUR ONPOINT LIFE
IN TWO PARTS:

PART ONE:

Today, Hoboken has experienced a horrific commuter train crash, and our thoughts are with those lives affected. We are proud to be a part of a community that rebuilds so readily in the face of such a tragic event, whether it's local restaurants cooking up food to workers, or our own Theta Phi Alpha - Gamma Chi and Omega Phi Beta chapters delivering coffee and snacks to first responders. While details are still coming in, the PATH train is back up and running thanks to incredible The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey workers with some delays.

For those taking NJ TRANSIT from South Jersey to Hoboken, you should take the train to Newark Penn Station, then transfer to the PATH train in the direction of World Trade Center, then transfer again at Journal Square and take the PATH train to Hoboken.

For those coming from NYC, because there is no 33rd Street to Hoboken service on weekends currently, you must use the World Trade-Hoboken line.

PART TWO:

That being said, the fest is only 44 hours away.

You read that right – against the odds, OnPoint is happening, rain or shine.

There's a chance it will rain sometime during the festival, and we've been checking the weather reports almost as often as we check social media on the regular. We've adjusted our festival grounds for this reason, which you can check out below and our website www.onpointfest.com . Please dress warmly and prepare for our potential guest, Mother Nature. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email [email protected]

If you're able to make the festival, we'll make the trek worth it.
