Michele Schubkegel earned her BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where she studied under the tutelage of Jackie Windsor, Joel Perlman and Michael Goldberg. After attending a year of graduate studies at New Mexico State University, Schubkegel moved to Vienna, Austria and opened her studio.

Michele Schubkegel’s paintings and works on paper have been exhibited throughout Europe, in New York City and Chicago and are part of private collections across eight countries around the world. Schubkegel currently creates and resides in the western suburbs of Chicago.

Celestial Art Curation Gallery is proud to present Emergence, a solo exhibition of 18 original works by local contemporary abstract artist Michele Schubkegel.

Emergence will be on view during the month of May at Celestial Art Curation Gallery in Hinsdale.

Our gallery team is preparing another Elle Aiche painting for the journey to its new home and collector on the east coast.

We are grateful for the trust of our collectors, especially those who demonstrate the ultimate confidence in our curation of fine art by collecting from out of state.

It is our pleasure to assist with selections, renderings, and shipping quotes. Curating inspiring works by emerging artists is our specialty, but smoothing the barriers to art collecting and handling logistics is a close second.

Wishing this repeat collector many years of enjoyment of this truly special piece by house artist Elle Aiche.

We are proud to offer glass art by Hinsdale based glass artist Bennett Grimm. We hear they make a lovely hostess gift, but our favorite way to enjoy them is to use them to welcome each guest to the table.

Glass pumpkins of various hues, designs and finishes are available for discovery at the gallery now through Thanksgiving.
