Concerts are held every Saturday night unless otherwise noted. Admission is general seating. Unless otherwise noted, admission is $10 for adults, $2 for children ages 6-11, and children under 6 are admitted free. Major credit cards are accepted, though cash is preferred. Tickets are only available at the door. Concessions are available prior to and during t

he show. Each concert includes a 15 minute intermission, during which guests are encouraged to explore the A. Carter Cabin and Birthplace and The Carter Family Museum. Free WiFi is available. About The Fold: Since 1974, the non-profit Carter Music Center has presented programs of old time and bluegrass music every weekend. Formally established in 1979, the Center's objective is to promote old-time music and pay tribute to the Original Carter Family (A.P Carter, Sara Carter, and Maybelle Carter).

Wyatt Ellis & His Bluegrass Band are back at the Carter Fold on Saturday, June 20. The show starts at 7:30 and doors open at 6.

Wyatt Ellis is a 17-year-old mandolinist, singer, and songwriter from East Tennessee who is regarded as one of the best young talents in bluegrass and country music. A skilled composer with a deep respect for tradition, Wyatt leads a powerhouse band known for their high-energy, single-mic performances. By age 13, he made his first appearance on the Grand Ole Opry, and at 14, returned with his own band, performing original music. As his career continues to rise, Wyatt Ellis is poised to leave a lasting impact on bluegrass and beyond.

The Crooked Road Ramblers will perform at the Carter Fold on Saturday, June 13 at 7:30.

The Crooked Road Ramblers are an old-time band from the Blue Ridge Mountains that plays traditional mountain music, including a mixture of instrumental dance tunes, old ballads, country, and bluegrass numbers. Each member is talented and acclaimed, and most are second and third-generation musicians.

We had such a fun time with Jeff Parker & Company a few weeks ago at the Carter Fold. There was plenty of good picking but also lots of antics and old favorite tunes. Jeff and crew certainly kept the dancers on their toes!
