Don't let the forecast fool you—we're expecting the weather to miss us, and we're ready for an amazing afternoon at Parma Town Park from 4:00–8:00 PM for Clams & Bands - Concert and Clambake in the Park with the Hilton Rotary Club

Our Spring 2026 Community-Wide Garage Sale Weekend officially kicks off in less than and hour at 9:00 a.m. and there are nearly 100 registered sale locations throughout the area ready for treasure hunters to explore!

😎 Come out tonight for the summers first gazebo concert 🎶

🚛 Food trucks serve at 5:00 p.m.
🎸 Music from Begging Angels starts at 6:00 p.m.

Who's coming to the Summer Concert Series at the Gazebo tomorrow? 🙋‍♂️

Skip making dinner and join us on Monday June 1st for food trucks and live music! Parking is available at the Village Community Center and at Quest Elementary School and don't forget to bring your lawn chairs! Food trucks begin serving at 5pm, Begging Angels hits the gazebo stage at 6pm.

☀️ Some Sunday Good News ☀️

Earlier this spring, Hilton-Parma Recreation was honored to receive three awards from the Genesee Valley Recreation and Park Society, including the Outstanding Service Award presented to our very own Sherry Christ Farrell.

As many of you know, Sherry recently celebrated 25 years of service to our community. From youth programs and summer camp to her current role as Senior Center Coordinator, she has positively impacted countless lives along the way. We were thrilled to see her recognized not only by GVRPS, but also recently featured in a wonderful story by The Hilton Record (thank you!).

In addition to Sherry's recognition, our department was honored to receive:
🐾 Exceptional Park Design Award for The Bark Yard Dog Park
🎲 Inclusion Program of Excellence Award for our Games Night Series

While awards are certainly appreciated, what makes them meaningful is what they represent: dedicated staff, supportive partners, engaged participants, and a community that believes in the value of parks, recreation, and human (and animal) connection.

Congratulations again to Sherry and thank you to everyone who helps make Hilton-Parma Recreation such a special place. 💙

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ A heartfelt thank you to everyone who played a part in supporting today's Sources Of Strength: Flex Your Strength Mental Health Wellness 5K Color Run/Walk 🙌

From the volunteers to the participants, the vendors, and spectators, your time, energy, and enthusiasm helped make it such a special day. 🌟

Events like these are a wonderful reminder of why we love being part of this community. 🏘️❤️ The connections, support, and sense of togetherness we experience are truly something special. 🤝✨

🏊‍♀️ Congratulations, Swim Lesson Families! 🏊‍♂️

Today is the final day of our current swim lesson session! We hope everyone has enjoyed learning new skills, building confidence in the water, and having fun along the way.

As a reminder, today’s class will be an open swim format with instructor availability rather than a traditional lesson. Lifeguards will be on duty, and instructors will be available, though there will be fewer instructors actively in the water than during a typical lesson.

Parents of our newer and younger swimmers should keep this in mind as they prepare for today’s pool time.
