I tend to give thanks to Mauna Kea every morning and evening when I'm here. It's hard not too simply by aesthetics alone. Yet, its truth resides inherently in value in a much more cohesive reciprocity that links a spiritual world and our world. A Universe we could go looking to only find ourselves not wondering why we could never feel the pain in which we have caused here. Even so could you imagine seeing this for the first time by canoe hundreds upon hundreds of miles away, and knowing exactly where you are going and may not even know why completely. Let uncertainty be the guide for you have conquered your fears this far.

My first journey by sailboat. Here is the North Kona coast. Took 22 running hours to make it from Hilo to Kona. No whales in this video but they were out there with dolphins.
