🟢Applications for the Artist Cohort are OPEN!🟢
Join us for the Creative Justice Journey Artist Cohort: A trip to Montgomery and Atlanta centered around race, art, and memory. During November 11-15, 2026, we will visit sites using sculpture, music, storytelling, photography, and immersive installations at places such as EJI’s The Legacy Museum and National Memorial for Peace and Justice

The Creative Justice Cohort will include up to ten artists who will join us for the trip free of charge. As a selected member of the cohort, you will receive free lodging, transportation and meals. Hillsborough Loves a Parade!

So naturally, we’ll be parading in honor of America 250 at the “Together We Are America” Festival!

Make your own handmade “Flag for the Future” showing what you wish for our country for the next 250 years. You can make your flag at home or join us starting at 10 a.m. at the festival. Art teacher Evie O’Dor will be on site to help guide you through the process – all supplies included.

Kids are encouraged to dress as their favorite character from U.S. history.

At 4:45 p.m., meet at the River Park ARTch metal framework for a short parade around River Park.

ABOUT THE CLASS:
Improv is a fun, low-pressure way to express yourself, think on your feet, and break out of your routine. This class can teach you how to turn up the volume of your imagination while turning down the volume of your inner critic. When the volumes switch, magic happens! No scripts, no pressure—just games, exercises, and scenes designed to help you embrace spontaneity and find joy in the unexpected. Whether you’re a total beginner or someone looking to stretch their creative muscles, this class offers a welcoming and supportive space to play, laugh, and grow.
