Hi, we’re Kendra and Jess- the teachers behind Monroe School of Highland Dance! We had a wonderful time welcoming new families at today’s Open House, and enrollment for our fall classes is now open!

Pre-Premier Technique - Zoom

• Tuesdays, 5:00–6:00 PM
Primary - ages 3–6

• Thursdays, 3:45–4:45 PM
Pre-Premier

• Thursdays, 4:45–5:45 PM
Advanced Pre-Premier & Premier

Whether your dancer is taking their very first steps or continuing their competitive training, we’d love to welcome them to Monroe School of Highland Dance!

We’ve also had a sudden influx of interest in an adult Highland dance class! The day and time haven’t been set yet, but if you’d be interested in joining an adult class, please send us a DM so we can add you to the interest list.

Sandy | Dance Training Coach for the win! Thank you Sandy for getting us ready physically and mentally for the season ahead today. Grateful for the in person workshop. We all learned so much. (Typing this while small muscles that haven’t been fired in a while have been awoken 😜)

Bringing some massive hardware back home to North Carolina! Congrats to Mary Jane 7&U10 champion 🏆 and Campbell 7&U10 2nd Runner Up 🏆 . Thank you Kate DeGood School of Dance for being an amazing team teacher and support. And well done to SDUSA National Championships. We had a fantastic time!

Mark your 📆! We will be performing 12-12:45 on Sunday Sept 20! Come out and see us…. And so many other talented performers!

There is more going on at the North Carolina Folk Festival than what is on the 5 main stages. From Dance performances and workshops to jam sessions and open mics. This is the heart of the art & culture we boast when we speak about our festival.

🕺Dance workshops are happening at LeBauer Park.
🪕🎤Jam sessions and open mics can be found at the Revity Jams stage on Church St.
💃Observe a variety of dance and musical programming at the Folklife area located in the Cultural Arts building.

All happening for free in downtown Greensboro, NC, September 18-20.
