Looking for a fun little activity this afternoon? Come out to Down Yonder Farm! We'll be selling our freshly harvested watermelons and playing a couple watermelon-themed games. You can visit the sweet donkeys, walk around parts of the farm, and play in the shady grove.

Hi Folks! We haven't posted much on Facebook (you can stay better up-to-date on all things DYF through instagram and our newsletter), but I didn't want y'all to miss a very rare and special show coming up next Saturday, May 27th.

MC Taylor from Hiss Golden Messenger will be playing a solo show on our lawn stage, as a fundraiser celebrating our efforts to maintain this place and offer more to you, our community. It just so happens that it falls the very weekend Peter Kramer purchased Down Yonder farm in 1978, 45 years ago!

Tickets can be found at hissgoldenmessengerdyf.eventbrite.com, and they're going fast! You can also snag a limited-edition, signed show poster designed just for us by Casey Robertson.

📸 NEXT WEEKEND: 📸 Mini portrait sessions at Down Yonder Farm 🍁

Have you made it out to one of our music events? Did you attend the first annual Sleepy Fest, or our second.hand.made pop-up market? Want to help keep the arts going out here, and get a fun family portrait while doing so?

Join us for a 2-day mini portrait session! Jessie Gladdek, owner of Down Yonder Farm and former full-time photographer, will be offering 20-minute photo sessions on November 12th & 13th, during both the morning and afternoon. Sessions will take place in various locations around our 50 acre property, and take advantage of the beautiful outdoors and fall foliage.

All proceeds help us cover our operating expenses as we continue to offer space for artists, musicians, writers, and others.

Fans love the distinctive vocal styles of Emy, Tanuj, Cindy and Richard, their luscious harmonies and wide-ranging musical styles (from Delbert to Diana Krall, Joni to Jonathan Byrd, Randy Newman to Talking Heads). Their high-energy rockers, driven by Cindy Jones’ explosive percussion, brings folks to their feet and sets them dancing.
