I am so excited and honored to join the Stoutsburg Sourland African American Museum as the new Executive Director. Elaine and Beverly are truly PHENOMENAL WOMEN and I pray that we are able to share these important stories of brilliance, struggle, and resilience that happened right HERE throughout our entire human family. I look forward to working with this embarrassingly richly talented board of directors and my hat is off and on the floor to Caroline Katmann for her leadership and generosity - such HUGE shoes to fill. It will be an amazing honor to work with the distinguished, young, and brilliant Dr. Isabela Morales to share with our community the GOOD WORK that we ALL MUST PARTICIPATE IN to create a better world for the sake of our children... ALl of our children.

So receiving a citation does not always conjure good thoughts. But, I am happy to announce that this week I received this wonderful acknowledgment from the Somerset Board of Commissioners for my work in the community.
I work for myself and my boss is not typically effusive with the praise and is often downright tyrannical with the workload so I sincerely appreciate this honor!
