Hope you’re outside enjoying this gorgeous night! Tomorrow morning you might see a light rain shower but skies will clear out and you’ll otherwise have another good weather day. There’s a slight chance that storms from the west move in late in the night, but they should hold off until overnight/very early Sunday morning.

Thennnnn Sunday….Sunday brings us another conditional severe threat similar to this past Wednesday. Kinda uncanny how it’s relatively similar in aspects.

As it looks from today’s perspective—a wave of showers and thunderstorms move in during the morning hours, some may be severe. And like I said yesterday, that wave will dictate how the possible second wave behaves a bit later on in the day/evening. We will definitely have to update, because it’s too soon to know specifics. But there’s potential for the second wave to be more severe than the first wave.

The likelihood of getting 1-2 inches of rain (more in spots) is looking relatively decent; but again it’s too soon to narrow that down.

I can’t for sure promise a dry window for outdoor activities on Sunday afternoon, I wish I could. But there is potential.

Showers and storms may linger into Monday morning (particularly south), but will be clearing out. Then we get a couple days of relative quiet again.

Just a friendly reminder that our FREE Food Distribution is tomorrow at 9am, on the backside of the church.

The Administrative Offices of the Hillsboro Police Department are CLOSED today for the Juneteenth Federal Holiday. As always, officers are on-duty and available by calling the Jefferson County 911 Dispatch Center at 636-797-9999.

The office will reopen at 8:00a Monday, June 22, 2026.
