The cast and crew list for "Fire in the Night Season: The Trial of Philip Partridge" is now available at SSCCTheatre.com

Rehearsals begin Wednesday, May 27 at 6:30 p.m. in the Edward K. Daniels Auditorium.

All cast and crew members should email Rainee Angles at [email protected] ASAP to accept their role or position.

"Fire in the Night Season: The Trial of Philip Partridge" will be presented for one night only on July 17 at 7:00 p.m. at Southern State Community College. Admission is free.

SSCC Theatre Company is holding a second round of auditions for "Fire in the Night Season: The Trial of Philip Partridge" tomorrow at 1:00 PM.

This powerful docudrama tells the true story of the 1954 burning of the Lincoln School in Hillsboro and the events that forced integration in our community.

We’re still looking to fill cast and crew positions, and all community members are encouraged to participate, no previous theatre experience required.

SECOND ROUND OF AUDITIONS 🔥

SSCC Theatre Company is still looking to round out the cast and crew for this summer’s production of "Fire in the Night Season: The Trial of Philip Partridge," a powerful docudrama based on a true story from Hillsboro history.

In 1954, local engineer Philip Partridge burned down the Lincoln School, forcing integration in a community struggling with the aftermath of Brown v. Board of Education. This one-night-only production brings that story to the stage.

Because some roles and crew positions are still available, we’re holding a second day of auditions:

Actors will cold read from the script. Those interested in crew positions can interview during auditions.

All community members are encouraged to audition. We welcome performers and volunteers of all backgrounds, identities, and experience levels.
