Hilliard Darby Treble Chorus has been named a NATIONAL FINALIST for The American Prize in Choral Performance - high school division, 2026!

The American Prize recognizes outstanding performing artists, directors, ensembles, and composers across the United States, based on submitted recordings. In 2020, the Hilliard Darby Symphonic Choir was also recognized by The American Prize, and we are thrilled to continue that tradition of excellence. This honor is a wonderful testament to the talent, discipline, and musicality of our singers.

Congratulations to the members of Treble Chorus, their conductor Mrs. Hannah Sterman-Wilson, and all who support the Hilliard Darby Choral Program. We are so proud of the heart, dedication, and musical artistry these students bring year after year!

To the man who started it all, words cannot express the extent of your impact. Today was Dr. Martin’s last day at Hilliard Darby High School, and we wish him all the best in his retirement.

His dedication, musicality, and heart built this program from the ground up, starting with 18 girls and one boy. Everyone who has been a part of this program over his remarkable career will carry the memories and music with them for years and years to come.

Dr. Martin, thank you for your passion, musicianship, dedication, and humor. You’ve truly left an imprint on all of our hearts.
