Well these were way more labor intensive than I thought! It was made worse by the fact that I tried to consolidate mats only to cut the wrong colors for some things. 🙄 Maybe if I’d have slowed down a bit. 🤷‍♀️
But the are all cut and tomorrow I’ll spend time gluing all the layers. Can’t wait to show you what they’ll make!!

Ah, today’s craft after work start to finish. I thought I remembered how to do it so I proceeded without caution.
Yeah, the zipper doesn’t open and close easily. The vinyl decal is off center top to bottom. And why is it covered in transfer tape residue? The whole thing is sticky.
After, I watched a YouTube video on transferring vinyl and I’m pretty sure I did it right. Weird.
If I can get it right, it’ll be cute. And functional. So far I’ve found out one way NOT to do it. Ha!

Made myself a logo today. Maybe it’s time to get some business cards made. 🤣

Done > Perfect.
I used to want everything to be perfect. It was an unrealistic expectation with my brain and my attention span. I then heard the saying "you pour your soul into your art and if it's perfect, your soul is trapped in it forever." Now I'm totally fine making mistakes...oftentimes multiple of them. Failures are a learning tool. You've learned X number of ways NOT to do something. And it builds resilience. So now I mistake away!
