We want to extend a huge thank you to Barbara Mulford, a 50-year 4-H volunteer from Ohio State - Franklin County 4-H. Barbara was recognized for her service to 4-H at the 2026 Ohio 4-H Conference in March.

“Seeing the young people grow into productive adults and leaders is a highlight of my 50 years. Ohio 4-H is an amazing organization that focuses on Head, Heart, Hands and Health. We grow leaders and responsible adults- that is why I continue to serve.”

We heard the coolest story at the fair this year! Someone traveled all the way from Missouri because our Family Day looked like so much fun in our social media posts that they decided to make a trip out of it! 🥹❤️

This past weekend, members of our fair board had the opportunity to volunteer with the Franklin County Farm Bureau for COSI's Farm Days!

Through this experience, kids and families had the chance to:
🚜 Get up close with real farm equipment.
🧑‍🌾 Learn the science behind modern agriculture straight from local farmers.
🍅 Discover how our food goes from the farm to our tables.

Thank you to COSI - Center of Science and Industry for hosting these events and to Franklin County Farm Bureau for letting us help out!

Our community mural is officially complete! 🎨 🖌️

Public art has a unique way of connecting people and this agriculture centered, "America 250" paint-by-number is proof of just that.

During fair week, visitors stopped by to leave their mark on this permanent piece of history for our grounds.

A massive thank you to Keep Hilliard Beautiful, Ccthesketchyartist, and Destination Hilliard for bringing this project to life - and thank you to everyone who grabbed a paint brush!

We have deeply sad news to share. Our full-time groundskeeper, Bobby McCabe, passed away suddenly on Monday, August 17.

For years, Bobby worked tirelessly to prepare the Fairgrounds for hundreds of rentals and events and to help care for and maintain the grounds.

His hard work, dedication, and willingness to help made a difference to so many people, and he will be deeply missed by all of us.

We are so excited to be the host venue for the fourth annual Columbus International Festival coming up on August 30, 2026!

Head over to our grounds to celebrate the cultures that make Central Ohio so vibrant and connect with neighbors from around the world.

🎨 Art exhibits & activities for all ages

We are so proud to partner with Hilliard Food Pantry to donate fresh produce straight from our garden to families in need right here in our community. 🍅🌽

Through their partnership with the Mid-Ohio Food Collective, our fresh harvest helps feed neighbors and support the broader network fighting food insecurity across Franklin County.

We can't wait to see how our garden continues to grow!
