The Franklin County Fair is now accepting entries for Home, Fine Arts, and Horticulture exhibits! The fair runs July 20–26, with competitions and exhibits taking place daily throughout the week.

Whether you enjoy baking, photography, quilting, painting, crafts, gardening, or countless other creative hobbies, there’s a class for you. Special competitions this year include:

Behind the scenes, Cecilia has started the process by hand-sketching a giant, paint-by-number canvas that celebrates our agricultural heritage and a special "America 250" tribute.

The dinosaurs have escaped... and they're headed straight for the Franklin County Fair! 😱

From July 20-26, the Jurassic Kingdom Dinosaur Show will bring giant, life-like dinosaurs to the fairgrounds for daily prehistoric adventures!

Kids can:
🦕 Meet enormous dinosaurs
🦖 Experience interactive dinosaur shows
📸 Snap epic dino selfies
🦴 Test their bravery against creatures that definitely don't understand personal space

And when you're done outrunning the dinosaurs...

⛳ Mini Golf opens daily at 1 PM!

The best part?

🎟️ BOTH the dinosaur shows and mini golf are FREE with fair admission! www.fcfair.org

Parents, this is your warning:
Your kids may spend the rest of the summer roaring instead of talking.
