This opportunity is available FREE OF CHARGE to all HHRS 8th Grade Graduates, Class of 2026.

Henry Hudson Regional School

In New Jersey, anyone operating a power vessel is required to have a New Jersey Boating Safety Certificate. Completing this course helps young boaters learn important safety skills, understand navigation rules, prevent accidents, and gain the knowledge needed to enjoy our waterways responsibly.

Living in a waterfront community, boating is part of our local culture. This certification provides valuable life skills, promotes water safety, and opens the door to future recreational and employment opportunities on the water.
