After 10 years of memories made, friendships forged, dishes crafted, beverages poured, and songs sung, Highlands Food & Wine will not return in 2026.
As downtown Highlands anticipates significant construction and new directives from city leadership, the footprint and logistics required to produce Highlands Food & Wine in the manner our guests and partners have come to expect have shifted in ways beyond our control. From the beginning, our goal was to create a world-class, intimate, and elevated experience. Rather than alter that formula in ways that would compromise its character, we believe — after thoughtful consideration — that it is time to close this chapter with gratitude and pride.
We are deeply appreciative of our chef and beverage partners, musical artists, sponsors, Board of Directors, crew, and support staff. Most of all, we are grateful to our fans — many of whom have been with us since our inaugural year in 2016. In rain or shine, in unusually warm days and wintry chill, you showed up and celebrated with us. For that, we are forever thankful.
The good news? There is still magic in these mountains. We warmly invite you to join us at the Bear Shadow Music Festival, May 29–31 in Highlands. Featuring headliners Charley Crockett, Mavis Staples, and Trombone Shorty, Bear Shadow promises a spirited celebration as we welcome a new season on the Plateau.
