9 Years ago I started throwing a music festival at my parents shore house in Bayville. Over the years we upgraded the event and eventually moved it to a local restaurant in town, u til this year when we re-branded and move the event to the The Sandbox at Seastreak ! Wow what a ride it has been over the years to start in my backyard and then slowly progress to where we are now, drawing our well over 700 people for an all day music festival! The work our team has put into this festival over the years Is beyond what you could possibly imagine, and partnering with the sandbox has enabled us to really bring this festival to the next level! Huge thanks to our partners in Verse and the rest of our team Brandon Alvaro DAN KEE Briana Sista Cam alex and Amanda Scialabba .
Big ups to this years headliner The Warped Tour Band ! Having these guys anchor out the night allows us to showcase smaller emerging artist and really put a spotlight on their talent. They really care about the scene and quite literally are keeping it alive! It was amazing to see Don't Panic Halogens Keep Flying Punchline and echo plum all showcase their talent this year!
Lastly I have to thank my wife Kristen Ravenda for putting up with my chaotic lifestyle and schedule, and being a super mom in getting our ten month old Roman to his first beach trip and rock show all in one. He fell asleep one song into our set and slept through the whole thing…👶🏼
