I’m so proud of Lyndsey!! A couple months ago we were finding her a bike, then teaching her to get on and off it, use brakes and gears, first ride we did 7 miles! This past Sunday she did 51 miles!!! I’m confident she will smash her goal of riding 100 miles in Amelia Island, to support Breakthrough T1D, on Dec 7. I'm taking part in the Breakthrough T1D Ride because I'm up for a physical and mental challenge that I know will be the experience of a lifetime. And, the money I raise will change the lives of millions of people who struggle with the burden of type 1 diabetes (T1D) every day.
