Give a warm DA Denver welcome to Megan Nowotnik! She’s joining our dance family as a ballet teacher and we can’t wait for you to meet her!

Megan Nowotnik started dancing when she was just 2 years old and began her competitive career training at 5 years old.

Her dance journey includes time with LA Dance Magic assisting choreographers and performing with the company; performing in the Disney World Performing Arts Program, at Carnival in Chicago and in the opening number for The Trifecta Dance Festival in Chicago; and professional work with the Moscow Ballet, the Dancepack and ABC television’s filming of the Disney World Christmas Parade.

She’s earned many National Championship Group Titles and Solo National Championship Titles and is a graduate of the University of Memphis where she was a member of the Memphis Pom dance team all four years of college. Megan also served for three years as a UDA staff member.

Please give a warm welcome to HALEY SCALABRIN! She’s a new addition to our DA Denver family and will be coaching elite dance and our Stars. You may also find her teaching a dance class here and there.

Haley was a member of the Texas Tech Pom Squad, where she earned two D1A national titles in Jazz and Pom. She also represented the U.S. National Jazz Team, bringing home gold on the international stage in 2022. Most recently, Haley earned her first national title as a choreographer at the 2026 NDA Collegiate Dance Nationals.

Beyond competing, Haley has dedicated herself to coaching and choreography, serving as a head instructor for NDA, where she has led teams and choreographed for their summer curriculum. She is also the program director and varsity coach of a local high school dance team, in addition to judging multiple national dance competitions with Varsity and working with teams across a variety of levels. These experiences have given her a well-rounded perspective on performance, team dynamics, and competitive expectations.

Outside of dance, Haley is a special education teacher who loves helping students build confidence, reach their goals, and celebrate their successes.

We are so excited to welcome Allie Hudak to the Dance Athletics Denver family!

This season, you’ll see Allie subbing classes, teaching master classes, and consulting with our teams. She is also available for private lessons and choreography, making her a fantastic resource for dancers looking to continue growing throughout the season.

With more than 20 years of experience in dance education, adjudication, and program leadership, Allie is a nationally recognized leader in the dance and cheer industry. As the longtime Head Director at Birdville High School, she built and led a nationally competitive program while mentoring athletes who have gone on to collegiate and professional dance careers.

A Past President of the Texas Dance Educators Association (TDEA) and credentialed judge with the United States All Star Federation (USASF), Allie has served in numerous leadership, curriculum development, and educational roles at both the state and national levels.

Her passion for developing athletes, empowering educators, and advancing the dance community makes her an incredible addition to Dance Athletics. We are thrilled to have her expertise, leadership, and energy as part of our family this season. Please join us in giving Allie a warm DA welcome!
