The Lincoln Community Center is serving as an emergency shelter in partnership with the American Red Cross for residents affected by the recent severe storms.

If you or someone you know needs a safe place to stay, charging access, water, snacks, or information about available resources, please see the details below.

🚨 06/13 SHELTER UPDATE
Our shelter at the Benton County Annex (410 S. Adeway Rd., Fowler, IN) has now closed as of Saturday evening.
Our volunteers remain ready to assist anyone affected by the storm. If you need help, please call 1‑800‑RED‑CROSS (800‑733‑2767).

⚠️06/12 SHELTER UPDATE ‼️
The shelter at the Wabash YMCA has been transitioned into a Reception Center, where residents affected by the storms can rest, access water and snacks, charge their devices, and receive information about available Red Cross support.

👉The Reception Center will be open on Saturday, June 13 from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

At these shelters, individuals will find a safe place to stay, snack and water, and support from our volunteers. You do not need to stay overnight to receive assistance — feel free to stop by if you need a place to charge your electronic devices, or find information about available resources.

Our Youth Tennis Camp is coming up June 15–19 at the Brantwood Park Tennis Courts! Whether your child is just learning the game or looking to improve their skills, this is a great opportunity to get outside, stay active, and make new friends this summer.

Beginner (Ages 6–8): 4:30–5:30 PM
Intermediate (Ages 9–12): 5:30–6:30 PM

Join us as we celebrate the official opening of the new pathway connection between Highland and Munster!

This exciting project helps connect our communities and expands access to local trails for walking, biking, and enjoying the outdoors.

Ceremony Location: Marked by the red star on the map
Monday, June 15th
Ceremony begins at 1:30 PM

Please arrive 10–15 minutes early. If possible, walk or bike to help reduce neighborhood traffic. Parking is available along Lincoln Street and Martha Street.

We hope to see you there for this exciting community milestone!
