Madison County Fairgrounds Welcome to the Official page of the Madison County Fair located in Highland, IL and the home of Highland Speedway on the beautiful Lindendale Park

The Madison County Fairgrounds in Highland, IL are ran by a group of wonderful volunteers that are passionate about promoting agriculture and providing a fun fair experience for their community. The Madison County Fair is held every year during the last full week of July, Tuesday - Sunday. The fairgrounds also holds weekly stock car racing during the summer and various other events throughout the year.

On behalf of the Executive Fair Board, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who came out to enjoy the Madison County Fair!

Your support, smiles, and enthusiasm made this year's fair a wonderful success. From the exhibitors and volunteers to the vendors, sponsors, entertainers, and every guest who attended—thank you for being part of what makes our fair so special. Sunday, July 26 – Family Day at the Madison County Fair!

Join us for the final day of the 2026 Madison County Fair and enjoy a full day of family-friendly fun, contests, exhibits, vendors, and carnival rides!

Sunday Highlights:
🐖 8:30 a.m. – Open Swine Show (Swine Barn)
🛍️ 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. – Vendors Open in the Expo Building
🏆 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. – 4-H General Projects Released (Expo)
🎠 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Carnival Armband BOGO with 2 canned goods
👧 1:00 p.m. – Miss Pigtail Contest
🚜 1:30 p.m. – Pedal Tractor Pull (Pavilion)
🚜 2:00 p.m. – Youth Garden Tractor Driving Contest (Show Barn)
🎨 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Exhibits Released

A Heartfelt Thank You to Our 2025 Madison County Fair Royalty

As the 2026 Madison County Fair comes to a close, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Miss Madison County Fair Queen Shayden Hogg, Junior Miss Avery Woodruff, and Little Miss Briella Huffines for their outstanding year of service, dedication, and leadership.

These young ladies have proudly represented the Madison County Fair throughout the year, serving as ambassadors for our fair, our community, and our agricultural traditions. Their passion, commitment, and positive attitudes have made a lasting impact on countless fairgoers, families, and exhibitors.

A special thank you goes to Shayden for her hard work in creating and organizing the Dairy Day Fundraiser. Through her efforts, she helped raise funds to support the Madison County Fair Queen Pageant and local 4-H groups, creating opportunities that will benefit youth in our community for years to come.

Thank you for your time, service, and dedication to making the Madison County Fair and our community a better place. We are incredibly proud of all you have accomplished and wish you continued success in all that lies ahead.
