September 29th ... why is that number familiar?? OH--we're T-minus one month until our fall concert on Oct. 29th!! No pressure--we got this! We're pros! (Well, not like that--we are all volunteers, but you be the judge.)

Under the heading of "We never sleep" ...

We've just been informed that the next two Highland Community Band rehearsals will be at Lincoln Center.

You will need your instrument, music if you have it, your pencil, AND your music stand.

AND anyone who plays a brass, woodwind, or percussion instrument are welcome to join us! Our concert is Oct. 29th, so you have plenty of time to join us!

So, for those of you playing at home:

7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, Lincoln Center, Highland (not to be confused with the one in New York)

7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, Lincoln Center, Highland

See you there!

Don't forget--tonight we're at the high school! They have stands, so bring your instrument, pencil, and a friend who can play percussion or brass or a woodwind instrument!

7 p.m. in the band room. Enter fifth door from the right, head right, down the ramp. Or just follow the music....

MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!!

The fall concert will be (drum roll, please) Thursday, Oct. 29 at Lincoln Center banquet hall!!

We are continuing the celebration of our nation's 250 birthday in the first half and Halloween the second half.

As always, admission is free and it begins at 7 p.m.

And it's not too late to join the band! We had some new faces tonight and more are always welcome.
