Maria's Quilt Store My favorite thing to do is to quilt for people. by appointment or i can meet clients at Quilt Country in Lewisville at their request.

I am freehand only but I offer edge to edge quilting as well as custom in modern and traditional style, including ruler work.

I got something weird in my email today about my account violating community standards today and that if I didn’t submit some information that this account would be closed permanently. But when I try to get more info, the address bar has a funny address and it doesn’t let me click on some links. So I’m gonna take my chances because I think it’s spam. We shall see.

Hi friends and clients and followers!
I’ve been absent for a number of reasons, mostly just busy with real life.

For 13 years now, I have enjoyed quilting for some amazing artists!
As my skills have grown, I charged a higher rate for custom work and clothing quilts, but never for my edge to edge work.
I have decided that it is time to increase my edge to edge service from $0.02/sq inch to $0.025/square inch. Also the minimum charge for quilting will be increased to $50.
As a slight offset, with the exception of custom work or special threads, I will no longer charge the standard $5 thread fee per quilt.
This change is effective immediately for any quilt brought in after today.
I hope I don’t lose any of my lovely clients over this.❤️ Thank you for understanding.

I redacted my last post. I was angry. I just want to make beautiful art and be properly compensated, like any other artist.

So, everything is ok, except a little timing issue on Nova. Thanks for being supportive :)

I found out recently there were many thoughts that I only do custom quilting work. NOT true.
I take all kinds of work. Edge to edge, custom, show quilting, binding, etc. just call for details!
