Several Group Ten members have work in the current Cuyahoga Valley Art Center Annual Juried Exhibit, on view now through September 10. Special Congratulations to Jana Volkmer, who won Best of Category in oil-based media, with her portrait "Cyril, the Cerebral."

Group Ten artists are at it again!! After a brief hiatus, we are back in exhibition mode and have exciting new art to share. The Weller Gallery is an awesome space in a beautiful park setting; check it out! Only about a half hour from Kent.

Congrats are in order for Group Ten member Carol Klingel; her oil painting "Holy Work" took First Place at the Cuyahoga Valley Art Center's "Floral & Landscape Exhibit," on now at CVAC. Beautiful!

Group Ten Member, James W. Leslie, is pleased two of his paintings are included in the Floral and Landscape Exhibition at the Cuyahoga Valley Art Center 2131 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, Oh 44221. This is really nice show with very talented artists from Northeast Ohio. Congratulation to all award winners. Group Ten member James Leslie's solo show at the Western Reserve Land Conservancy is coming to an end this Friday, the last day of a six-month run. Thank you to everyone who came out to see it, purchased a painting, and the great food and drink at the reception. If you haven't had a chance to check out “Nature in the Land” in partnership with the Western Reserve Land Conservancy of Northeast Ohio, Friday June 12th is it. My paintings are inspired by Northeast Ohio’s Cuyahoga Valley National Park, state parks, waterways, farmlands and more.
50% of all sales will directly benefit the mission of the
Western Reserve Land Conservancy.

The rain seems to have finally subsided, and temperatures moderated into something maybe normal. Let's hope for a great summer to get outdoors and enjoy Mother Nature.
