Meet the cast of Whodunnit, Darling?

Jeremiah Smith as Tommy Delbert

This is Jeremiah's first production at the High Springs Playhouse. He is excited to return to the stage as an adult - his last role was in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as a child. When not on the stage, Jeremiah likes to spend time outdoors. He would like to thank you for giving him the opportunity to make you smile and hopes that you enjoy the show.

This is Jack’s third time appearing on the High Springs Playhouse stage. His most recent role was Cash in “Happily Ever After: a Wedding Comedy" and Michel the Conductor in “Murder on the Orient Express.” Happy to be returning, he would like to thanks his family and friends for their constant support and hopes you enjoy the show.

We are proud to announce the cast of The Charitable Sisterhood Christmas Spectacular! This cast welcomes some new faces to the High Spring Playhouse stage, and welcomes back some veteran performers. We had a great turnout for auditions yesterday. Today’s the final day to audition- come see us at 7!

Auditions for The Charitable Sisterhood Christmas Spectacular will be held October 4 & 5, from 7-9 p.m. at the High Springs Playhouse. This feel good comedic play incorporates a play within a play and explores the true meaning of Christmas.

Character Descriptions - All characters will need to have great comedic timing. Some characters need a more dry type of comedic delivery. Tina, Lorraine, and Bea will be required to sing Christmas Carols - they don't have to be great singers, just able to carry a tune and sing with others.

Tina Yates - Female 40's - Successful nurse - Warm, practical, cares about people, but doesn't tend to pause & consider whether she ought to be less frank; a blurter. Originally from Baltimore, considered a "Yankee". Must be comfortable singing Christmas Carols on stage.

Lorraine Jensen - Female 40's - Lived in Pennington Gap, Virginia, all her life. Gently sarcastic and always good humored. Is the mother to 9 kids. Must be comfortable singing Christmas Carols on stage.

Bea Littleton - Female Late 40's - Early 50's- The wife of Pastor Hiram Littleton and happy to let you know it. He might be the Pastor, but it's her church. Must be comfortable singing Christmas Carols on stage.

Janet Murchison - Female 30's - A New Jersey native who recently opened her own private investigation agency. Quick with a wisecrack and even quicker with ideas. Bea trusts her even though she dislikes doing so. Honorary member of the Sisterhood.

Lucille Orton - Female 50's - Widow of the late Reverend Joseph Orton of First Salvation Church. Bea's blood rival. In appearance, puritanical and scary. In tone, sweetly menacing.

Stagehand 1 & 2 - non speaking roles

Auditions for The Charitable Sisterhood Christmas Spectacular will be held October 4 & 5, from 7-9 p.m. at the High Springs Playhouse. This feel good comedic play incorporates a play within a play and explores the true meaning of Christmas.

Meet the cast of Whodunnit, Darling?

Bryan Corley, III as Tex McKinney

Bryan is plumb tickled to be back on the HSP stage for his 8th show. You may have seen him recently in Wait Until Dark and On Golden Pond. He has also been seen at Ripple Theatricals in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. When he's not on the stage, Bryan enjoys disc golf, cruising around in his Mustang, and spending time with his family.

Bryan challenges you to come on down to the High Springs Playhouse and figure out Whodunnit, Darling before Tex does!
