My cousin proposed to his girlfriend Ayla three months ago. We’re close since our friend groups 😉 overlap, and I helped 😊 her feel comfortable when they first started dating. She recently 🛶 came to my house to plan her wedding because my cousin’s family has strong opinions but wants her to have a say too. While 🚙 chatting, I joked, “Good thing you and your family passed the background check.” I thought she already knew his family secretly ran one—since they did the same to his mom years ago. 🚖 She didn’t. She was furious, broke off the engagement, and my 🚧 cousin was crushed. Now they’re trying to fix things, but it’s rocky. I admitted I told her, and now my aunt, uncle, and mom are livid, saying I ruined everything. I still think Ayla had a right to know. AITA for exposing the secret “background check”?

I wanted to start looking for collleges now to be better prepared but turns i have no money left, I'm literally 📣 🏚 sobbing while writing this my parents took my entire money and gave it to my sister. I raised this 🤣 issue on Christmas and I'm being blamed for ruining Christmas and not 🚀 loving my niece or my sister. I told them 😀 yes i really hate each and everyone of them.

I (30sF) was about to pick up our 4yo from school when I saw a text 😿 from my husband (30sM): he'd ALREADY picked her up. Panic clawed at my throat. The car seat wasn't installed in his car! Two years ago, he ⛲ put our 2yo in the FRONT seat with just a lap belt because he was running late. I EXPLODED then, threatening to leave if he EVER did it 🤡 again. Yesterday, his excuse was flimsy: he "forgot" the car seat was missing, I didn't answer his text, and he didn't want to "traumatize" her by bringing her back inside. I unleashed fury, accusing 🎇 him of prioritizing convenience over our daughter's safety. His face remained stonily 🐟 blank. "He then had the AUDACITY to say she was "fine" and I was overreacting because his MOM let him ride on her lap and he turned out okay!" " My hands are shaking, rage blinding me... I am completely disgusted by Tiffany's behavior and while I haven't completely ruled out adoption entirely I did want to give medical 😂 assisted conception a try. My husband supported this 😸 and we are now currently ⛰ expecting. After we made our announcement Tiffany messaged me asking why I would spend thousands on creating 🍃 a child when I could helped one who 🤠 already existed.
