Asbury House Gifts Welcome to our shop! Handmade gifts and art Asbury House was built in 1880 and is one of the oldest homes in Higginsville, MO.

It has a rich history going from being a single-family home, to a rooming house, apartments, and finally to not just one but two amazing restaurants. Asbury House Gifts is the new chapter. A gift store (and more!) featuring nothing but hand-crafted, unique gift items from local, regional, and national artists. At the Asbury House Gifts, you can find beautiful jewelry, amazing pottery, inspiring ph

otos, engaging art, and much, much more. We will be hosting "Meet the Artist" nights in the summers, giving you, the customer, the opportunity to meet your favorite artist and for the artist to meet the people who buy it. The Asbury House Gifts also includes the Asbury House Studio where classes are held for various crafts and art. The Asbury House Kitchen also provides cooking classes so that you may learn something new or if you just enjoy cooking.

Thanks to everyone that stopped by the Friends of the Friendless Animal Rescue adoption event today at the Asbury! We had two tentative adoptions and several donations of money and food. That was an amazing event. Watch for it again in a few months - we're going to make this a normal event! Hopefully mother nature will be in a better mood next time! THANK YOU ALL FOR STOPPING. Community is strong in this area and we appreciate it!

What she said! If it's raining we'll move the pups to the Asbury Studio right next door to the Asbury House. Come in, we can walk through the house to the studio OR walk north down the alley, the studio is right next to the house! We may put the hot dogs and burgers on hold though ... sorry! We'll see. Friends, I'm going to close Asbury House Gifts early and run down to Concordia to pick up a cat and bring her home! We will be open Thursday and Friday 10 to 6 and Saturday 9 to 3. And don't forget!!! We are hosting a pet adoption event Saturday starting around 10:30. Weather permitting! There will be burgers and hot dogs on the grill, proceeds benefit Friends of the Friendless. You don't want to miss the cuteness that will be here! See you then!

From a blank canvas template, these talented artists created AMAZING Barn Quilt Squares today! Led by Sue Stark (an excellent instructor), these folks had a great day and walked out with a piece of art that can be proudly displayed indoors or out.
