A crazy amount of progress has been made on the inside of the pirate ship on the water in the ALL-NEW Shipwrecked expansion coming this Fall to Lake Hickory Haunts! 🏴‍☠️

The second deck is coming along as well 👀 but the siding is being finished and stained on the inside and the entrance has been built! Check out how the shape of the entrance helps tell the story of the ship and attraction. ⚓️☠️

The work continues in the brand new Shipwrecked expansion! Not only have we been bringing the pirate ship walkthrough on the water and the saloon to life, we’ve also started more work on the seaside village. 🌊 Stay tuned for more sneak peeks at that coming soon! For now, check out all of the hard work put into shaping the stern of the ship, siding the ship, staining the saloon, creating costumes, and more. 🏴‍☠️
Don’t forget about the Descent expansion also coming to our 15th Year of Fear! Our crew has started painting after spraying hundreds of gallons of senergy throughout this expansion. 🎨 We’ve also begun planning on the location of huge props and many other surprises…

We’re all about repurposing what we can here at Lake Hickory Haunts ♻️🎃 And we’re currently using old whiskey barrel parts for some of the siding inside the brand new pirate ship on the water in the Shipwrecked expansion!
Also, don’t forget that almost all of the wood we’ve been using lately came from us expanding Lake Hickory Haunts Drive earlier this year. 🪵 How neat is that?!
