Free dance and movement class for adults in partnership with Arts Culture Catawba, Catawba County Public Health, and Centro Latino this Saturday!

Looking for social connection? Adults are invited to Move Together in this free basic dance and movement class set to popular music! Join us on September 5th from 10am-12pm at Centro Latino (151 25th St SW Hickory, NC) for this fun event taught by the Hickory Ballet & Performing Arts and presented in partnership with Centro Latino and Arts Culture Catawba

In Pre-Ballet our youngest dancers (ages 3 and 4) discover the joy of movement while developing important foundational skills. As they progress into Ballet 1 (ages 5 and 6)they begin building ballet technique.

ALL levels of ballet develop:
🩰 Strong bodies
🧠 Creative minds
✅ Confident humans!

Come to our Open House from 10 to noon this Saturday to meet some dancers, teachers, and tour the studio!

Ballroom dancing is more than just learning steps! It’s a fun way to move, connect, and challenge yourself at any age or skill level. Sessions begin every first Thursday of the month.

✨ Stay active while improving balance, coordination, posture, and flexibility.
✨ Boost your brain by learning new steps, patterns, and combinations.
✨ Reduce stress with movement, music, and an hour to simply enjoy yourself.
✨ Connect with others in a welcoming, social environment.

Taking care of business and getting the studio ready! 🧹✨

We’ve been cleaning, organizing, prepping, and putting all the finishing touches in place because our favorite people are coming back! 💙

There’s something energizing about getting the studio ready for a brand new season of dancing, creating, performing, learning, and making memories together.

We are SO excited to see everyone back at HBPA and fill these studios with music, movement, laughter, and lots of hard work again! 🩰🎭🎶

The countdown is on… 😉✨

At HBPA, we love watching that moment when “I can’t do it yet” turns into “Look what I can do!”

Acro is about so much more than learning cool tricks! 🤸‍♀️✨

Students are learning bridges and backwalkovers, but they’re also learning how to keep trying when something doesn’t come easily.

Acro teaches students to trust their bodies, celebrate progress, and build confidence one skill at a time. That strength carries over into dance, performance, and life. 💙

Did you know HBPA offers tap classes for ages 7 to Adult? 👞Come try a class! We also carry tap shoes in our store for your convenience.
