Redhawk Publications Redhawk Publications, an initiative of Catawba Valley Community College, is a North Carolina nonprofit press with over 200 titles.

We proudly support diverse, inclusive voices & are among a handful of U.S. community colleges with a literary press. We have a staff of graphic artists, editors, photographers, grant writers, managers, all with experience in all kinds of projects.

We have another opportunity to see poet Al Maginnes!

Flyleaf Books this coming Sunday, June 14, from 2:30 pm- 4:00 pm. They will be hosting two popular poets, Chapel Hill's Gideon Young and Raleigh's Al Maginnes.

Each poet will read for about 20 minutes, followed by a short break to sign books, and then an Open Mic.
