Backstreet Classic Arcade in Lincolnton, NC turned out to be an awesome place to spend an evening playing old school arcade games from Sega, Nintendo, and more.

During our visit, we talked with co owner Randy Silver and learned how Backstreet Classic Arcade got started. Hearing the story behind the business was one of my favorite parts of the experience.

They have over 50 retro arcade games, including classics like Pac-Man, After Burner, Mortal Kombat, X-Men and MTV trivia. We also found quite a few games I had never played before, which made walking around and seeing what we could discover even more fun.

We went to Rage Asylum here in Hickory and filmed the entire experience from picking out everything we wanted to smash to finally getting into the rage room.

You get to choose all kinds of glass items, and I even added a TV to smash along with a bunch of other stuff. 😂

I had a really good time with this one and would definitely recommend checking Rage Asylum out if you're looking for something different and fun to do around Hickory.

The Hickory Aviation Museum is super FLY! Even though I live in Hickory, when I walked in, it felt like being in a different city. It’s exactly what Hickory needed.

I know it’s been around, but the renovations made it truly special. They have over 20 planes, tons of aviation gear, and so much history.

The staff was incredibly friendly, and the space was spotless. Honestly, I spent over two hours there. If you’re looking for a great family outing, it’s right by the Hickory Airport definitely a 10 out of 10. Check out the video if you like!
