Based on best-selling children’s classic by Natalie Babbitt, adapted for the stage by Claudia Shear and Tim Federle, and featuring a soaring score from Chris Miller and Nathan Tysen, TUCK EVERLASTING tells the story of eleven-year-old Winnie Foster who yearns to escape her own imagination and longs for a life of adventure beyond the confines of her garden gate.

It isn’t until she becomes unexpectedly entwined with the Tuck Family that she gets more than she could have ever imagined. When Winnie learns of the magic behind the Tuck’s eternal youth, she must fight to protect their secret from those who would do anything for a chance at eternal life. As her adventure unfolds, Winnie faces an extraordinary decision: return to her life of normalcy, or continue with the Tucks on their unending journey.

🚨 !!! IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT !!! 🚨

Due to cast illness, this weeks July 21 - 24, 2022 performances of Roald Dahl’s MATILDA: The Musical at The Nebraska Communities Playhouse are POSTPONED.

Two performances have been added:
* THURSDAY | July 28, 2022 @ 730PM
* SUNDAY | July 31, 2022 - Matinée @ 2PM

Greetings valued NCP Patrons! We regret to inform you that due to cast illness; and for the safety of our artists, volunteers and the communities we serve: our second scheduled weekend of performances of MATILDA: The Musical (July 21 - 24) have been POSTPONED!

While we are saddened we won’t get to share MATILDA’s magic with you this weekend, we are pleased to inform that we will be extending the run with two additional performances: THURSDAY July 28 @ 730PM & SUNDAY July 31 • Matinée @ 2PM.

Patrons who have already purchased tickets to our previously scheduled performances (Thursday July 21 & Sunday July 24) will have their booking exchanged to the same performance the following week (i.e. Thursday July 21 —> Thursday July 28). If that does not work for you, please contact our patron services at 402.792.8882 or via email @ [email protected].

Patrons with reservations for this Friday(July 22) & Saturday (July 23), you will be contacted by our Patron Services team in the coming days to reschedule for another performance. Should you be unable to attend, we are pleased to offer credit to a future performance of another production in our 2022 Season.

All patrons who have current standing reservations will be receiving an email with further information.

We thank you for your understanding as we were forced to make this most difficult decision and for your patience as members of our Patrons Services team make contact to exchange reservations. We look forward to entertaining you soon!
