Students can build confidence, technique, and musical skills through 8 private, 30-minute lessons with one of our summer instructors:

A holiday classic closes out the 2027 Y.A.C.H.T. Club season at Nebraska Communities Playhouse.

RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER JR. brings the beloved story and characters generations have grown up with to the stage in a festive, heartwarming musical adventure for the entire family.

After being treated as an outsider because of his glowing red nose, Rudolph sets out on a journey that teaches him and everyone around him the value of kindness, acceptance, and embracing what makes us different. Filled with familiar songs, memorable characters, and holiday magic, this joyful production is the perfect way to celebrate the season at NCP.

While we are beginning to look ahead to our 2027 season, several production team opportunities are still available during the remainder of our 2026 season!

Whether you’ve worked in theater for decades or are exploring production work for the very first time, we would love to connect with you. Community theater thrives because of passionate, collaborative people onstage and behind the scenes, and there is a place for all experience levels at NCP.

Yesterday’s Y.A.C.H.T. Club Masterclass was filled with creativity, collaboration, and storytelling!

A huge thank you to Becky Boesen and David von Kampen for leading an incredible workshop on writing for theater. Students explored writing techniques, improvisation, syllabic emphasis when setting text to music, and so much more throughout the afternoon.

We are so grateful to Becky and David for sharing their knowledge, creativity, and passion with these young artists, and we thank all the students and families who continue to make Y.A.C.H.T. Club such a special community!

TWELVE ANGRY JURORS comes to the newly renovated Studio Theater at Nebraska Communities Playhouse in 2027.

What begins as an open-and-shut case quickly becomes something far more complicated when one juror refuses to rush to judgment. Locked inside a jury room on a sweltering day, twelve strangers must confront their own assumptions, biases, tempers, and consciences as the debate intensifies.

Tense, gripping, and remarkably relevant, TWELVE ANGRY JURORS is one of the most powerful dramas ever written — an intimate theatrical experience that places audiences directly inside the pressure cooker of deliberation.

Registration is now open for Meredith Willson’s The Music Man, JR. at Nebraska Communities Playhouse!

This high energy Y.A.C.H.T. Club production is the perfect opportunity for young performers to build confidence, teamwork, and performance skills while bringing a full musical to life in the NCP Studio Theater. Whether it’s your child’s first show or their tenth, all experience levels are welcome!

⭐ Ages: 9–14
⭐ Rehearsals: Saturdays, September 12–November 14 | 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
⭐ Performances: November 14 & 15, 2026
⭐ Program Fee: $400 (includes shirt & script)
