About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Working Operations Manager to lead daily shop operations from the floor, streamline production, and drive profitability. In this role, you will balance direct hands-on ex*****on with team leadership, process standardization, and high-touch customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Shop Leadership & Floor Ex*****on: Lead daily workflow from the front, setting the standard for quality, speed, and precision on every job.
* SOP Implementation: Establish, refine, and enforce standard operating procedures across all service lines to eliminate bottlenecks and minimize rework.
* CRM & Scheduling: Manage CRM software to schedule appointments, track job stages, allocate technician time, and ensure smooth shop throughput.
* Customer Relations: Interface directly with clients to manage estimates, explain service scopes, deliver updates, and provide an exceptional customer experience.
* Efficiency & Profitability: Monitor labor hours, material usage, and turnaround times to maximize bay productivity and protect shop margins.
* Quality Control: Conduct meticulous pre-delivery inspections with a keen eye for fine detail.
Qualifications
* Proven background in shop leadership, production management, or operations (hands-on service trade or detailing industry experience strongly preferred).
* Demonstrated ability to build and enforce repeatable standard operating procedures.
* Proficiency with CRM systems, digital scheduling tools, and inventory management.
* Strong interpersonal skills with a professional, customer-focused demeanor.
* Uncompromising attention to detail and a relentless commitment to quality.
* Self-motivated mindset with an understanding of labor efficiency, margin management, and job costing.
