There’s nothing quite like a Lazlo Kaz jazz routine! 🤩🔥

Our ProCo Seniors spent last weekend working with the incredible Matthew Kazmierczak, and WOW… this piece is something special! The choreography, the energy, the musicality… we are so excited about this one! 👏

We are SO grateful to have Matthew back choreographing for us again this season. Thank you for continuing to challenge and inspire our dancers and for creating another incredible piece for our Seniors! 💜✨

What a special Sunday afternoon of dance for a wonderful cause! 💜✨

Our ProCo Teen dancers had the opportunity to perform at Coe College’s Sinclair Auditorium on Sunday as part of a benefit show supporting the Cedar Rapids Community School District’s secretaries and support staff!

We’re so proud of these dancers for sharing their talents and giving back to the people who do so much behind the scenes to support our schools and students. 🫶

A special thank you to our very own Matthew Lovegood for helping make this opportunity possible! We loved being part of such a meaningful event! 💜

We absolutely LOVED having Derek Piquette at The Dancer’s EDGE this weekend! 🤩🔥

Derek spent the weekend setting an incredible new Senior Lyrical piece that we already can’t wait to see come to life this season. He also brought the energy in technique and acro classes, challenging our dancers to push past their comfort zones, trust their training, and go for it.

We loved watching our dancers soak up his expertise, take on new skills, make adjustments, and leave inspired and hungry for more.

Thank you, Derek, for pouring so much into our dancers and sharing your talent with us! 💜

Give some love to our TDE TAs! 💜🖤

Our Teacher Assistant Program gives TDE dancers ages 12-18 the opportunity to step into a whole new role at the studio - supporting our instructors, helping our younger dancers, and learning what it means to be a dependable part of a team.

For many of our TAs, this is their very first job, and we love getting to watch them build confidence, responsibility and leadership skills in a place they already know and love. And there’s something pretty special about our younger dancers getting to learn alongside the big kids they look up to each week. 🥹

A huge shoutout to Nichole, who leads our TA Program and pours so much time and care into helping these dancers learn what it means to be great assistants, employees and leaders. We are so thankful for everything she does to help them grow in this role, and we are so proud of this crew for the energy, care and hard work they bring to their classes every week!

Still thinking about this one. 🤩

The energy, the musicality, and the way these ProCo Teen, ProCo Senior, and Company 8 Advanced dancers attacked every detail in their Jazz class with Kaelyn Gray was so fun to watch!

Kaelyn always knows how to push our dancers while bringing out the absolute best in them, and we LOVE watching them rise to the challenge. Already counting down until we get to have her back at TDE! 💜

That’s a wrap on year 3 of PCJ Hip Hop choreography with TDE alum, Z! 🔥

Having ZIN back in the studio each year is always so special and our PCJ dancers absolutely love learning from her.

We’re so grateful that she keeps coming home to share her talent with the next generation of TDE dancers while she’s perusing a dance career and doing BIG things in LA. 🥹

Thank you for another amazing year of PCJ Hip Hop, Z! We wait to see this one hit the stage! 💜

Tap classes with Kaelyn Gray are always an annual TDE highlight 💜

She brings unmatched energy, incredible talent, and a passion for tap that is absolutely contagious. She knows exactly how to challenge our tappers, push them outside their comfort zones, and leave them feeling stronger, more confident, and even more inspired than when they walked in.

We’re so grateful for every opportunity to learn from you, Kaelyn. Thank you for another amazing round of tap classes!!! 👏
