We host great concerts, unique events, and camping along the shores of Lake Chatuge! At the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds we host events all year long like great concerts, events, and festivals. While we are most known for our annual Georgia Mountain Fair, we also host the Mountain EggFest, Fall Festival, Brew, Stew, & Que fest and more! Bring your RV or a pitch a tent and stay a while at one of our 189 campsites on the banks of Lake Chatuge with the stunning Blue Ridge mountains for your backdrop. As the Country Music Capital of Georgia, you are sure to hear some of your favorite artists in our intimate venue! It's time to Deck our Exhibit Hall with our Annual Christmas Tree Contest! ๐ŸŽ„

Trees will be on display at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall during this year's Mountain Country Christmas in Lights. Prizes will be awarded for the most unique, most traditional, and people's choice; and over $1200 in prize money will be up for grabs!

Our amazing craft vendors and performers are taking a few days off and will be back at the Fall Festival on Thursday, October 15th!

We'll be back to our regularly scheduled festival fun on Thursday with delicious food, crafters, and live music. Praise the Lord, tomorrow is Gospel Day at the Georgia Mountain Fall Festival! ๐Ÿ™

We'll start our day of family friendly fun and worship with a Worship Service at 11am led by Calvary Baptist Church Hiawassee. Then at 2pm get your toes tapping to a Gospel Music concert from gospel bands; The Isaacs, The Mylon Hayes Family, and The Rumfelt Family. Following the concert head to the Fairgrounds to enjoy a day of carnival rides & fair fun!

โš ๏ธ IMPORTANT FALL FESTIVAL WEATHER UPDATE โš ๏ธ

We gave it our best effort to keep the Fall Festival open today, but unfortunately, the weather conditions have continued to worsen. For the safety of our guests, vendors, performers, and staff, we have made the difficult decision to CLOSE the Fall Festival for the remainder of today, Saturday, October 10th.

Tonight's Bluegrass Music Show featuring Brad Kaylor & Mineral Bluff Revue and Backline has also been canceled.

The good news is that we plan to reopen tomorrow, Sunday, October 11th! โค๏ธ

โ›ช 11 AM: Worship Service hosted by Calvary Baptist Church Hiawassee inside Anderson Music Hall.

๐ŸŽถ Gospel Music Show: Join us afterward for an afternoon of wonderful gospel music featuring The Rumfelt Family, The Mylon Hayes Family, and The Isaacs!

๐Ÿ‚ THE FALL FESTIVAL IS OPEN, RAIN OR SHINE! ๐Ÿ‚

There's still plenty of fun happening at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds! Our arts & crafts vendors, delicious festival food, and concerts inside Anderson Music Hall are all continuing as scheduled!

IMPORTANT WEATHER UPDATE: Due to the anticipated heavy rain and high winds, the carnival rides have closed early and departed the Fairgrounds. We know this is disappointing for families who were looking forward to the rides, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Please note that live music on the Hootenanny Stage and Post Office Porch has also been canceled due to weather concerns.

There's still plenty to see, shop, eat, and enjoy at the Fall Festival, and we appreciate your understanding as we navigate the weather. We hope to see you soon!
