The Drama Club is hosting a Musical Theatre Camp this summer!!

Join us for an exciting 5-day Summer Musical Theatre Day Camp designed for rising 3rd–8th graders! This fun and engaging camp meets for three hours each day and gives students the opportunity to explore the world of musical theatre through singing, dancing, and acting.

Throughout the week, campers will build confidence, develop performance skills, and work collaboratively as they learn songs, choreography, and scenes in a supportive and energetic environment. Whether your child is brand new to the stage or already loves to perform, this camp is a great place to grow, make new friends, and have fun.

The week will conclude with a special performance on Friday, where campers will showcase everything they’ve learned for family and friends. Come be part of the magic and let your star shine! ✨

Acting opportunity!

We are excited to be hosting Center Stage Musical Theatre's auditions for "Spill the Tea!", an original musical, on Saturday, May 23rd! Auditions will take place from 1-3 pm at Arts of the Albemarle.

The production is seeking to cast 30 adults and teens, and 10 children (ages 10+) for this exciting new musical inspired by the bold women who defied King George III during the American Revolution.

Auditioners should prepare 30 seconds of a Broadway-style song, planning either to bring an accompaniment track or sing a ca****la. Dancers are encouraged to audition as well and may prepare a 15-second dance sequence; singing is optional for dancers. The show is also seeking two professional violinists (paid) who perform with electric violins in addition to marching band drummers, preferably from an area school.

Walk-in auditions are welcome during the 1-3 pm window on May 23, or non-local submissions may be accepted virtually. Contact the production team to inquire.
