We're thrilled to announce the return of Powerhouse Strings, our youth orchestra for string players in grades 4 through 6, under the direction of Mara Thompson, pictured below.

Festival Strings, under the direction of Andrew Kurtz, will continue to offer playing opportunities for students in grades 7 through 10.

Thanks to the Derry Township Police Department for organizing another great ! We loved meeting with so many community members and sharing about our upcoming season and free children’s concert on September 12th!

What a great day to be out talking to members of the community at the Hershey Association's Market on Chocolate! Thanks to our volunteers who handed out music-themed coloring pages, word searches and crayons and shared information about our upcoming season. We also talked to some pretty excited kids and families about our free children's concert on September 12th. We'll announce the winner of the four free tickets to our regular season via email soon!

We’re thrilled to invite children and their families to “Unwrap the Music” at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the Hershey Theatre.

Under the direction of Maestro Greg Woodbridge, this free community concert will introduce young listeners to the many unique sounds of the symphony orchestra. Through live performance, children and their families will discover how instruments work together to create the rich and powerful sound of a symphony orchestra.
