Finally some sunshine to pick blackberries and do some observations! We are over the rain. 🐝

The hives are overflowing with fresh brood- they work on chores the moment the skies clear, so I did the same! I worked on clearing the entrances for them. I know some are preparing to swarm behind my back! I see one already has. Thank you to my middle child for taking a picture of me. ❤️

The blueberries look like they ripen a little later this year, hopefully they are worth the wait. In the meantime I will enjoy the sweet blooms of Elderflower and prepare to harvest half of my crop.

I still have Elderberry syrup, spring honey, fire cider & honeybee propolis whenever you need it. Message me anytime. 🍯🍇

A reminder as March approaches: If you see a cluster of honeybees hanging on a tree, fence, or structure — don’t panic and please don’t exterminate them! That’s a swarm, and they are usually calm and just passing through while looking for a new home.

💛 I’m happy to safely collect honeybee swarms. ✨ Removing them helps protect our pollinators and keeps everyone safe.
