🐦‍⬛❤️ INTRODUCING… FEEL GOOD FRIDAYS! ❤️🐦‍⬛

We're starting a brand-new Friday tradition at The Thrifty Magpie!

✨ FEEL GOOD FRIDAYS! ✨

Every Friday, we'll share a little something to make you smile, warm your heart, restore your faith in humanity, or simply remind you that there's still plenty of GOOD in this world.

Here's where YOU come in! We want our Magpie Friends to help us find those stories!

While you're scrolling Facebook, watching reels, or wandering down those internet rabbit holes, keep your eyes peeled for something that makes your heart happy.

💕 A beautiful act of kindness
🐾 An incredible animal rescue
💕 An uplifting story about everyday people
😂 A moment that makes you laugh until you cry
💕 Or simply something that makes you say, "The world needs more of THIS!"

Send me the story, video, or link through Messenger!

🎁 If I choose your submission for a Feel Good Friday feature, you'll receive a $25 Thrifty Magpie gift card!

And here's the sweetest part…

Our VERY FIRST Magpie Friend has already submitted a wonderful story about a rescue dog named Magpie!

When I offered her the $25 gift card, she said she'd rather PAY IT FORWARD to the next person whose story we feature… Y'all. 🥹❤️

THAT is exactly what Feel Good Fridays are all about! So thanks to her generosity, our next featured contributor will receive that first $25 gift card!

Because around here, we believe kindness is contagious, good stories deserve to be shared, and a little joy can go a mighty long way.

🐦‍⬛ Let's make Fridays something to FEEL GOOD about!

👇 Tell us in the comments: What's something you've seen or experienced lately that made you smile?

And don't forget to SHARE this post with your friends! The more Magpies searching for goodness, the more goodness we'll find.

When I move in to The Magpie’s Nest soon I want to begin creating smaller pieces like tapestries. My goal is filling my space with things you can not find at Hobby Lobby… I have a ton of ideas….

🐦‍⬛ Something NEW is taking flight…

One year ago, we opened the doors to The Thrifty Magpie Co. at 409 W Main St, with a whole lot of hope, a love for old things, and a dream of creating something that felt like more than just a shop.

And, Magpie Friends… apparently one nest just wasn’t enough. 🪺
We are so excited to finally introduce you to…

THE MAGPIE’S NEST 🐦‍⬛
Just across Main Street from The Thrifty Magpie at 406 W Main St, we’re creating a companion space filled with more of everything we love about being a Magpie—vintage treasures, old books, artisan handmades, cottage goods, cozy corners, creativity, conversation and of course, community!

But, just like The Magpie, The Nest isn’t simply another shop. It’s a place to browse. Read. Gather. Create. Visit. Discover. And stay awhile. 🐦‍⬛💕🐦‍⬛

There are still walls being painted, treasures being gathered, shelves being filled and lots of Magpie magic happening behind those doors… and we simply can’t keep the secret any longer.

🎂 SOFT OPENING — OCTOBER 15th On The Thrifty Magpie’s FIRST BIRTHDAY!! 🎁

One year after opening our first doors, we'll open another set just across the street.

Two shops. One Magpie family. 🐦‍⬛

Over the next few weeks, we'll be giving you little peeks inside, introducing some of what you'll discover at The Nest, and sharing the story of how this crazy little dream is coming together.
Until then… dream of: Vintage Finds • Books • Gathering Place

Welcome to The Magpie’s Nest.

Coming October 15 to Historic Downtown Senatobia, Mississippi.
