Finished up this chevron, moss stitch throw. It really has a retro vibe! 😍 The throw & bags pictured will be for sale in Senatobia at Bank First at an Art After Hours Exhibit. Recently I saw a post about my first mosaic crocheted blanket and it was 6 years ago. I don’t know where that blanket landed. I’m not sure exactly when Handmade by Big Nana was born but it was around 5 years ago so…….Happy 6 year birthday!!!! and to help me celebrate, if you have anything I’ve made for you, please post a picture in the comments! When asked how I can write & make designs in crochet, my go to answer is it’s magic, but actually I use patterns. I received a custom order a few weeks ago. He wanted a baby blanket with a ladybug on it. I found the ladybug. He liked it. I just needed colors from him. He said I was thinking flowers in the grass with a ladybug, a couple of bees, maybe an ant……
So I grabbed several patterns & went to work, not knowing how it would mesh together….
It’s got no ants, but I think it turned out amazing!
