My painting "The Storm " can be seen at The Tarpon Art Guild in Tarpon Springs Florida until the end of the month.
It is available for purchase.
It's a oil on canvas.
I painted it in layers with a pallet knive and used wax paper and a squeegee between every layer to flatten the paint.
I added the lightning and made it glow in the dark.
The 3d rain is heavy automotive clearcoat that I repeatedly dripped down at a angle.
The frame is built like a window frame so you get the feeling that you are watching a thunderstorm over the water out the window.
The show that I entered in the Tarpon Art Guild was called Ism's . This one was definitely experimentalism.

I have been working on this oil painting since I returned from vacation.
I'm trying to decide what else it needs. I keep adding color and changing it.
It was originally going to have either a fish fin, waves or some of the mangrove plants coming out of the water reflection but now I want to keep it a simple reflection of the mangroves only.
Not sure.
