This was one of my favorite geometric tattoos before heading back to France.

From August 5–30, I’ll be taking a little time to recharge, spend time with family, and come back inspired with fresh ideas.

Your tattoo isn’t getting worse… you’re just seeing what week one really looks like. 👀

One of the biggest mistakes people make is judging a tattoo before it’s fully healed.

A fresh tattoo, a tattoo after one week, and a tattoo after three weeks can look completely different—and that’s completely normal.

During the healing process, your tattoo may:
✨ Look dull or cloudy.
✨ Start peeling or flaking.
✨ Feel dry or slightly uneven.

That doesn’t automatically mean there’s a problem.

Healing is part of the tattoo process, and every body heals differently depending on your skin, lifestyle, and aftercare.

As a fine-line and geometric tattoo artist in Los Angeles, I always remind my clients that patience is just as important as the tattoo itself.
