Meet Kelsie ✨

Kelsie has been dancing since the age of five and currently performs with both the Hermiston High School Dance Team and Jr Jam’s Senior Elite Team, bringing years of training, performance experience, and a genuine love for dance into the classroom.

Now in her third year teaching at Jr Jam, Kelsie also serves as an assistant coach for the Echo Middle School Dance Team. She has a natural passion for working with young dancers and strives to create a class environment where every child feels welcomed, encouraged, and excited to learn.

In Kelsie’s classes, young dancers will work on building strong technique, confidence, coordination, and performance skills—all while having fun and developing a love for dance. She believes some of the most important growth happens when dancers feel supported enough to try new things, make mistakes, and celebrate their progress.

After high school, Kelsie plans to continue dancing at the college level while pursuing a degree in behavioral sciences and early childhood development, furthering her passion for working with and understanding children.

Kelsie can’t wait to welcome your dancer into class and help them learn, grow, build confidence, and fall in love with dance! 💕

Cori's love for dance began at just 3 years old, and she spent the next 15 years training, competing, and performing with Jr. Jam. Throughout her career, she has trained in ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, and show dance, building a strong technical foundation and a well-rounded understanding of dance. She also danced all four years on Pendleton High School's Rhythmic Mode while continuing to compete at the studio level.

In 2019–2020, Cori coached Hermiston's Stardust Dance Team alongside Head Coach Susan Stephens, helping athletes grow both as dancers and as individuals. She believes dance is about so much more than learning routines—it's about building confidence, discipline, resilience, and a lifelong love for movement.

Cori is passionate about creating a positive, encouraging environment where every dancer feels supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential. Whether your child is stepping into a dance class for the very first time or striving to take their training to the next level, Cori is dedicated to helping them grow in both technique and confidence.

When she's not in the studio, Cori enjoys exploring the outdoors, reading, and spending quality time with her family in Hermiston.

This week our dancers are taking on Tremaine Dance Convention & Competition, pushing themselves, learning from some of the industry’s best, and growing as artists every step of the way.

We’re especially proud to celebrate one of our own, who was selected from a huge group of dancers to perform in a small featured group for Tremaine’s camera crew. What an incredible honor and a true reflection of the hard work, dedication, and passion they bring every day.

No matter the awards, opportunities like these are what it’s all about—stepping outside your comfort zone, soaking up knowledge, and making memories that will last forever!
